"We were all very happy with this condo and our weeklong Memorial Day experience, the grandparents to the grandkids! The view from every room, the inside and balcony had everything we needed, the grand pool and umbrella lounge chairs on the beach being included were a hit. We visit everything from Destin and pier park shopping to all kinds of restaurants in both directions up and down the beach and the Walmart across the street is convenient, so we loved the location. Blue Swell made everything convenient and not complicated from check in to check out. They even answer their phone and are helpful, and it was a holiday weekend. Wish everything was this smooth. The only thing i wasn’t paying attention to when booking was the garden tubs in both showers were a little hard on my parents getting out and the building’s fire alarm went off (not us) for evacuation and my parents and sister(on crutches after I booked) had a hard time with the stairs. But elevators didn’t tear up on us unlike other places I’ve stayed. I felt it was clean, comfortable, and well supplied as expected for a rental. Definitely would recommend and book again.

"Could be a great vacation rental with some help. The carpet in the bedroom with two queen beds was nasty at best looks as though it hasn’t been shampooed in probably a couple of years although with the amount of traffic it gets through there may be a little bit shorter period of time. Top part of the electrical outlets in the King bedroom didn’t work at all. It needed a lightbulb over the dining table and needed a lightbulb in the queen bed bathroom. The closet in the queen bedroom was full of stuff, decor, and things that could’ve been stored someplace else and left open for suitcases and all that kind of stuff. Two of the chairs on the balcony look like they had very large people sit in them at one time and the metal legs were bent to one side and they’ve been that way for a long time because right where they bend is rusted. Safety note as you go out the sliding door to the balcony there’s about a 4 inch high metal bar that goes across the entire opening, I’m assuming that’s for hurricane stuff so I understand the reason for it, but it should be either brightly colored or at least give renters advance notice about it. My wife hit that going out in the first 15 minutes we were there and broke her toenail. The dryer was taking three 90 minute cycles to dry the clothes. It finally started to smell like the belt that turns the drum was slipping. We have stayed in Destin, Gulf Shores, Clearwater and Panama City before this trip and this condoles our least favorite. It can be a very nice place to stay with some maintenance, replacements and a very deep cleaning. If those things were repaired, cleaned and replaced, it would be a place we would go back to.

Other than the carpets the condo was clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. Blue Swells is very good to work with, everything went smoothly.

"The room was just as pictured. The kitchen was beautiful! We've stayed at a few different places, but this condo by far had the best stocked kitchen. Everything I needed they had.
Of course the views were stunning. The room exceeded my expectations
Long Beach Resort is very secure. The only recommendation is that LBR would put more lighting around the pool areas and the ground level walkway to the pools. Which doesn't have any baring on the condo itself, but just a suggestion.

Long Beach Resort Tower 2

"The unit is very spacious and clean. This was our second time staying in this particular unit and it never disappoints. My one and only complaint is that their luggage carts are very old and are falling apart. Long Beach Resort needs to invest in some new ones but this has nothing to do with the owner of the unit or Blue Swell. We have been renting from Blue Swell for several years now and our experience is always a great one. Definitely recommend.

"Rooms need a little up to date done to them. Pillows were awful on the beds. Nice area and nice pool area. We enjoyed our stay just a few things need updated. Dryer took over 1 1/2 hours to dry towels that were washed. Laundry machines need to be updated. Very loud as they wash and dry. We will consider coming back with our family in 2025.

"What I love about LBR is its location & ease in all the transitions. Getting into the parking lot, getting up to my room, getting to the beach, etc. It's not as crowded as many places which I love.There is room on the beach in front of the condo versus it being super packed.

"I was a little nervous as this is the first time I rented through vacasa/blue swells etc. The rental process was fairly easy. The app explained the check in and check out procedures, door code etc. The condo had the best view with floor to ceiling windows in both bedrooms and living room and kitchen!

Nice PCB Spot

"We enjoyed our stay. The property management company was very responsive as we had a few issues that were promptly addressed. The photos make the unit seem much larger than it is, that being said, 4 adult women had ample space. The unit and complex are older, the stained carpets are not in the best condition BUT overall, both the unit and complex were clean and well maintained. We did not come to PCB to enjoy the condo but to enjoy the beautiful beach so the carpet stains and the "not so great, but not so terrible" kitchen were basically ignored! The location is nice because it is not in the thick of activity further down toward Pineapple Willy's, so it was more quiet and less crowded at our location. Pools were beautiful, building entry, elevator, etc. were all clean and tidy. We went to Firefly for dinner (reservations needed) and enjoyed it very much! Very nice, elegant restaurant with a menu that included fresh sushi, steak, seafood, etc. A bit expensive but worth every penny. First night in, we went to Pineapple Willy's and even though it was very crowded, we were seated without an extensive delay and enjoyed the traditional yummy PCB seafood meal with good service and leftovers! Overall, an enjoyable time with friends and felt that Blue Swell (management company) did a very nice job! Suggestions? Replace the carpet and kitchen cabinets, keep the furniture but update the overall decor! Thanks for a great stay!

"This is my 4th stay at this resort and of the four I would say this unit was just okay. Pillows were horrible(we always usually take our own and didn’t this time) beds need new mattresses and upon arrival one of the bathroom sinks looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Aside from those complaints, you can’t beat the views from every room at Long Beach Resort! The rental company affiliated with this unit was very easy to work with and did a great job communicating from the time we booked until after we checked out. I will for sure return to Long Beach Resort but I don’t think I would rent this particular unit again.

Two Weeks @ Elysium

"Blue Swell, was very responsive and did all the could to make it fantastic experience. The unit has fantastic views, and well laid out. The unit is aging and needs a lot of work. The carpets and furniture are extremely dirty, we covered them where we sat. Every day our socks with be black. Even the front door as you come in is extremely dirty. We had maintenance come in and tried to fix multiple items like the microwave that did not work properly. Doors falling apart, its all the owners fault. Not Blue Swell, they are doing all they can with the unit. End of season is November 1st. Beach chairs are removed.

Fell in love with LongBeach Resort!

"Positive: We absolutely loved the condo we rented! The furnishings were great and the views in each room were breathtaking! We will definitely look to rent there again in the future. We called when we arrived 15 minutes early with groceries in hand. They were nice enough to give us the door code and allow us to get in so that we did not have to stand outside in the heat. We had a small issue with the door lock and maintenance was quick to take care of it. They were extremely helpful and friendly. I must mention the towels! I’ve never stayed anywhere that gave you an abundance of towels but they did! It was nice not having to worry about running out of clean towels quickly.

Negative: The only thing I could say really needs improvement is the equipment in the kitchen. We had planned to cook meals to save money. I had a single mom with me who couldn’t afford to eat out. It was extremely frustrating trying to cook a simple meal. There were plenty of plates. But not enough pots, pans, skillets, bowls or utensils to cook more than 1 or 2 things at a time. I enjoy cooking for my family when we have downtime at the beach. But, trying to do so in a kitchen that was unequipped was very stressful. But we did have THREE colanders! :(

4 days at Long Beach Resort

"The complex itself is older but the pool area is beautiful. It was nice to have the pool restaurant for quick lunch and drinks. The unit itself has a nice layout with access to the huge balcony from both bedrooms. The unit was nice but needs updated furniture. The furniture is what I call “heavy” for a beach front rental. The TV’s did not work on the first day there but a repairman came on day two. check In was a breeze with code door lock, however, on day three the door would not open. The property management gave us a new code. The property management company was at times hard to reach during the reservation period but all worked out. This unit has very little starter supplies so bring your own...everything! The were numerous towels but no kitchen supplies...salt, pepper, etc. Overall a good place to stay. Numerous parking spots, beautiful, beach, and wonderful pool.

"Loved the size and comfort of room. Liked the fact the elevator was quick and never had a problem finding parking or a chair at pool. Very convenient walk to pineapple willeys. The pool was nice and always like it when there is food service and adult beverages at the pool too. Will return here again.

"Property was just as described. Everythig was great, condo was clean, well supplied and maintained. Had problem with entry code and management worked quickly to solve. Will use Blueswell again.

"Having read a couple of negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with the condo. The location on the beach was perfect. Also, we had an initial problem with a toilet that was fixed at once. Two thumbs up!
