Description

Welcome to the nicest, most luxurious condo Tidewater Beach Resort has to offer. Our luxury condo not only boasts the largest 2 bedroom floor plan found in Panama City Beach, but you will also appreciate the many other decor upgrades that no other Tidewater condo has.

Not only is the kitchen and all cabinetry custom and unique to this condo, the matching Samsung stainless appliances, induction stove, custom thick granite surfaces, and tile backsplash make this kitchen truly one of a kind. All furnishings are extremely high-end, gorgeous slate tile throughout, an enormous amount of square footage, and the master bathroom is the only one of its kind in the whole resort. The master bath was completely reimagined by one of the original developers of the resort and features a very large stand-up shower in place of the large garden tub usually found in this floor plan. The oversized shower features gorgeous custom tile work, a seat, and THREE shower heads including a wand sprayer, rain shower head, and traditional wall head. All fixtures, cabinetry, and countertops are extremely high-end, custom, and unique to ONLY this condo! Additionally, the balcony is the only one in the entire resort that features tile installed by the original developer for personal use - easy to keep clean, easy on the feet, and beautiful!

Lots of small things add up to be bad. The many paged legalize that you have to sign in essence stating all the extra charges they can levy against the renter and they are not responsible for anything. I dislike and distrust high-handed companies. The carts that they have for guests to take up to the rooms do not fit through the doorways so when it was raining, I had to leave all my luggage out in the rain while I tried to find something to prop open the door and then carry one item in at a time. Three of the elevators where broken when we arrived and the couple that did work took forever to arrive - they do warn you though that in busy times, it can take up to an hour to get an elevator. For three of the seven days that we were there, the unit just above us was replacing their tile floors so for 8 hours each day we had to listen to a hammer-drill pounding in our ears (the last night, they didn't quit until 9 in the evening.) I got a nail in my tire in their parking garage and had to spend several hours getting the flat fixed. The unit had no curtains on the glass door - the glare was terrible. No door handles on any of the cabinets - difficult to open. No instructions on how to operate the TV's, stove, AC., shower. I had to watch YouTube videos on my phone trying to figure it out. I never was able to control the AC. Lighting is so dim that I wasn't able to read anything after dark. The one toilet was dirty and I had to clean it when we first arrived.

When we arrived, staff at the resort was not friendly or very helpful. However, we were impressed overall with the rental. It wasn't cleaned very well, chips on the couch, sand on the floor but again, overall we were satisfied with the condition. We cleaned the entire condo on Sunday morning and began to do what we went to do....relax. Our biggest complaint other than rude employees was the crazy wait times to get an elevator.

This condo is amazing and we loved it. Had an issue with the air conditioner and stove but maintenance came up and solved the issue&#xD83D;&#xDC4D;&#xD83C;&#xDFFC;<br/>We’re so disappointed it’s already rented for this time next year. <br/>Only downside was when you want to go out on the balcony.. to many people are smoking this or that... makes it very unpleasant for those of us that don’t want to smell their cigarettes.

We chose this place because it had two king beds, plenty of sitting space in the den, and a short-top dining table. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was very easy. The view was great. It was close to the elevator which was convenient. I also went down to use the jacuzzi, and steam/sauna area and I was very happy with it. The only issues we had was the bracelets they required you to wear around the property were very tight and cut off my circulation, the water did not drain well in the shower, and they did not have good instructions for the induction stove...which we had never seen. But this did not significantly detract from our time. We would rent this place again.

What a fabulous trip! First time back to PC in 23 yrs. The Tidewater was beautiful. This specific rental was beautiful. Just as described. Lots of room, beds were comfortable and the view was to die for. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it! Looking at planning the next trip!<br/>The only issue we had the whole time was that the dead bolt inside did not lock. And I did not call Blue Swell as we were gone most of the time with family living in the area. The Tidewater staff was great! Very helpful with any questions and friendly.

We had to stand in line for over two hours waiting on an elevator, just to get to our room. Had to wait until after 8:00pm to get a cart for the rest of our stuff. My mom has a heart condition and must rest after a long trip. 7 hour trip from her home. She had to wait in the waiting area for two hours because of the elevators. Beautiful condo but I will not come back because of the elevators.

Great room and fantastic view with sunsets included. Unit was clean and everything worked fine. I have a few suggestions that would make a persons stay even better. (1) when the sliding glass door is open the air gets sucked under the front door with such force that is causes a loud whistling sound. Loud enough that it’s a problem. I had to take 2 towels and stuff them up against the base of the door to stop it, Bottom of door just needs new weather stripping. Simple fix. (2) I’d get a larger drip coffee pot. The one there works fine but I stayed by myself. If there were 2 or more people you’d pretty much have to make 1 pot per person. Silly. A Mr. Coffee 12 cup costs about $30.00 If they don’t want to buy one then it would be nice to know before hand. That way a body could bring their own. <br/>Thanks for the chance to give a little input. Sign of good management.

Spacious condo right on the beach with an incredible view! Modern appliances that took a minute to figure out how to use but clean and cold fridge. Love hearing the ocean in the master bedroom as we fell asleep each night. Very quiet, pool was clean and large and beach was beautiful. Within walking distance to Pier Park and parking was easy. Would definitely recommend!

This unit is not only beautiful, but very clean. The guys at Blue Swell were very friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated it. There were a few things beyond the control of the management for this unit- elevators can be challenging on weekends, but on weekdays, we had no issues. There were other renters smoking weed from their balconies, which would drift up towards ours- but it sure didn't ruin my vacation. The beds were very comfortable. The Master bath is gorgeous... LOVED the shower, and the desk area for putting on make-up. The airbeds are good quality ones, and the young people who slept on them slept well. The pool was clean and refreshingly cool which was great considering it's so hot outside. The beach is breathtaking- so beautiful. However.. don't assume it will be that way every day as storms were out at sea and the second half of our week, the water was full of algae and seaweed. Even then, that beautiful tropical color was still there, out past the seaweed. This resort is very close to Pier Park. You really wouldn't want to walk it- but it's only a short drive away. Lots of restaurants around- we loved Pineapple Willy's, Sharky's , Wicked Wheel and Guadalupe Grill. Salty Sue's was not great- its close, but maybe skip that one. We used the Tiki Bar, and enjoyed the drinks. We appreciate you opening up this unit for rental, and for keeping it so clean and providing plenty of towels and bedding.

My husband and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary this year. This condo is more than we could have asked for. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a condo. The master bath shower was amazing and the cleanliness was top notch! We will definitely stay here again! The staff at PCBLP were awesome and very helpful! We did not encounter one problem during our stay. It was fantastic! Would recommend highly!

Very nice and beautiful condo. I agree, it is \"literally the nicest\" 2 bedroom condo in Panama City! The views were outstanding and the amenities were generous. The only complaint would be that the Internet service is extremely slow. But we would go back in a heartbeat.

After my father in law sold their beach house in Destin, my wife and I for the first time in a while had to find a new place to beach it. So we researched a lot of places and made the priorities that we wanted to be on the beach and near fun things for our kids (8,8 and 4). This place accomplished all that and more. Almost brand new looking on the inside, great location on the beach, chair services and other beach activities as you walk out, indoor and outdoor pools, arcades, a restaurant and even a little shop (though expensive) for when you need a couple things you might have forgotten to get at the store. It also has a starbucks in it for the coffee drinkers out there. The place is also near pier park (we walked there ... just under .5 miles), shipwreck island water park and a lot of great restaurants. Just a tip and something we were not prepared for, is Saturday check in's are going to be \"fun\". With having to get checked in, get a luggage cart and then wait on an elevator to get said cart on, it will take a bit before you get up to your room. So if you have a family you might come prepared to let them throw on their suits and go to the pool while one of you gets the luggage up to the room. That would be the only thing I guess I would warn about is the elevators. Just be prepared during busy times (in the morning, dinner time, weekends) to wait on an elevator (besides check in, the longest I waited was like 5 minutes). It is a big complex and only has 6 elevators, so some waiting is involved. Some get really mad about this, for me I am more laid back when I am on vacation and do not let it bother me. It is still way easier than loading up a van and having to find a place to park if I was staying off the beach somewhere. Lastly, and this is not a sales pitch, I do not work for them or anything, but Shipt was a sanity saver for my wife and I. Getting groceries during busy season is just CRAZY no matter what store you go to. So my wife ordered ours through the Shipt app, and we had the groceries delivered to us. So we were able to get settled in the room and let the kids play while someone else stood in those crazy grocery lines for us. Just a tip I thought worth mentioning vs starting your vacation off wanting to pull your hair out at walmart or publix. So rent this place for your next family vacation, it is amazing. You will not regret it. We will be back for sure.

We stayed at the Tidewater room 2408 with my husband, myself and threes all boys. We had a great time, enjoyed the pools and hot tubs and of course the ocean. It was a little busy being spring break, but not too bad. The wait time for the elevator was a little bit longer than normal, but it was well worth the wait. The 24th floor gives stunning views and the balcony is a great place to sit and relax. The master Bath is gorgeous and has multiple shower hours and a hand held sprayer. For only being a 2 bedroom condo, it was plenty big. We will definitely come back.

2408 is the nicest room I have ever stayed in over 20 years of vacationing in this area. Wonderful ocean view, extremely comfortable beds, plenty of towels, high end bathroom, ice maker that works fast, large living space. I have no complaints about this unit. I would definitely book this room again.

Our family loves this condo! The view was incredible. It had everything we needed for the week for cooking meals and getting some laundry done when needed. Starter amenities were provided which was great for our arrival. I cant say enough good things about the property !

Our Cleaning

We're following guidelines set forth by the CDC & local goverments to reduce transmission risk and help stop the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented a rigorous cleaning regimen specifically targeted to clean and disinfect hard and soft surfaces with special emphasis on all high-touch areas. 

Our cleaners use Spic and Span® 3-in-1 Disinfecting Spray and Comet® Disinfecting Cleaner with Bleach which are certified by the EPA to be effective at killing a broad spectrum of pathogens including:

  • Coronavirus
  • Norovirus
  • E-coli
  • Influenza
  • Salmonella
  • Hepatitis

All of our linens are professionally washed using only EPA approved detergents.
