Extremely disappointed! I paid $2784/500 dollar deposit for Tidewater room 1117 for a week stay and $1415.30/500 deposit for room 1116 for a 5 night stay.From a renters standpoint the last thing one wants to contend with while on vacation is maintenance issues.For this type of expenditure I guess I am so nave to think I was entitled to air conditioning.The moment we walked into unit 1117 it was extremely warm however we turned on the air and opened the outside door in order to allow outside air to cool down the unit.I called Blue Swell on Wednesday after multiple attempts to activate the air conditioning due to increased temperature.I discussed with rep on Wednesday this issue however I never heard anything back from Blue Swell until maintenance showed up unannounced on Thursday.We made sure we followed the rental agreement and properly notified Blue Swell of the maintenance issue several times. He indicated the air conditioning required a total replacement.There was no follow up from Blue Swell regarding our comfort. For 1116 we reported the toilet handle was broke and would not flush.The Blue Swell Advantage statement for 1117 and 1116 states "We spend tens of thousands of our own money each year making sure the property you rent from us is top notch and in perfect working order" and "We always inspect our properties prior to your is my opinion that Blue Swell did not properly inspect the property prior to my arrival and did not in a timely fashion try to ensure our comfort for the duration of our stay.We checked out on 3/24/19. I received a call on Monday 3/25 from the property manager, informing me that the maintenance person would be replacing the air conditioning unit on Tuesday 3/26. We then received another call on 4/3/19 that the air conditioner had been replaced. Why do I care now?
