A Few issues but great vacation!

"Let me start off by saying that I have rented thru Blue Swell twice. First experience was great with zero issues, 2nd and most recent had a few bumps in the road. With that being said, my family and I had an amazing week and the weather was spectacular! The rental itself was very clean and had enough room for my family of 3. The couch and rug were overly worn but that didn’t affect our stay at all. My only suggestion for the owners are pot holders!!! The view from the balcony was phenomenal!! This was our first stay at the Tidewater and to no surprise the elevators are a huge issue. Be ready to wait and cram into an elevator when one finally arrives. The TW staff was great and friendly tho. As for Blue Swell, I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to check in early. Had a few issues, on Sunday we got back to our room from the beach and our door code had stopped working. Had to call 4 different times to get an actual person after leaving 3 messages. The gentleman who helped was very apologetic and got us right in. The same day, we left our beach outside our door to dry trying to be courteous to the home owners and someone stole my 12 year olds beach chair. Kinda shocking considering they speak of all the security. However, it was just a beach chair. We did have issues with the air not turning on. BS said the thermostat was set to not go below 74, but we never heard or felt cold air coming out of the vents. They did send someone the next day and it was fixed for the remainder of our stay. Overall, the rental itself was great, Blue Swell did try to make every issue right, and I would stay at the Tidewater again as long as I was on the 7th floor or below due to the elevator!!

Cute Comfortable Condo, With A Fantastic View!

"This is a clean, comfortable condo that fits 6 people easily. On the 16th floor, you have a wonderful view of the ocean and all the marine life. The water was crystal clear so we spotted sea turtles, schools of fish, a couple of sting rays (or manta rays), and possibly even a couple of sharks! Since the ocean was so clear we spent most of our time on the beach, however their pools were great. Especially the pool with the snow cones and tiki bar. When back in the condo for down time, he living room had plenty of seating for all 6 of us, so that was a nice change. My family had a wonderful time during our stay. The management company made checking in and out so incredibly easy. We had an open line of communication throughout the whole stay, in case a problem came up...but it didn’t. The only less than perfect part of the stay was the elevator situation. However, we quickly found that after we got through the checkin/out days the elevators were no problem at all!

"My daughter and I absolutely loved your condo. It was very clean and it made you feel like home away from home. The location was perfect very quite and walking distance to the pier and shopping. The condo was decorated very cute. The only thing that I would recommend would be a broom and a dust pan, just so you can swipe up sand, crumbs, and etc. But overall we would definitely come back. Thanks again for sharing your condo with us.

"The unit we had was awesome and we enjoyed our stay there. The view of the ocean was spectacular and was right on the beach!! The complex had two outside pools, an indoor heated pool and hot tubs. The hot tubs were being repaired so they weren’t in use. There was a tiki bar in the one pool and both pools were easily assessable. Our unit was on the 16th floor and the elevators ran quickly. I would return to this condo in a heartbeat and looking forward to our next visit!!

"The property location could not be better. Beachfront and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I was disappointed with resort itself though. There are two outdoor lagoon pools located on either side of the building, 5 out of the 8 data I was there, one of the pools was closed. This made the other pool very crowded and dirty by the end of the week. The staff at Tidewater was mediocre at best and not very helpful. The elevators were slow, but I did not find them as slow as other reviews that I had read. I liked the unit that I rented, but was disappointed in the cleanliness, the condition of the furniture, the condition of the cookware, and lack of bakeware. The area rug and the furniture in the great room were filthy and pretty beat up. We didn’t even use the shower in the master bath because the shower liner was so filthy. The curtains in the bedroom and the great room were stained, there was food and dirt stuck to the walls and baseboards in every room. Maintenance showed up unexpectedly and unannounced for a repair that was called in by previous renters I assume. I guess I just expected better considering the amount of money that I paid for the week. Despite the disappointment, I did enjoy my time in Panama City Beach. I have been to this area many times, but this was my first and last time staying at Tidewater.

"Very great spot right on the shores of PCB. Not only did this accommodate my family of 5, but the attractions and amenities included with the resort are stupendous! The condo was very clean, spacious, and comfortable! Although the mask mandate was not mandatory, we still wore our masks and felt as if the facility was very well prepared during this pandemic. Our view was amazing and we all agreed the condo was very quiet and secured because of the wristbands and door codes! We will definitely be back to stay at Tidewater Resort

Late summer getaway

"Due to Covid we didn’t go during peak summer season. Finally got a chance to come down & we had a blast! The room was beautiful! Had friends come down from Memphis & it was their first time at visit Panama City beach! They loved it as well! The only downfall was the lady who’s handing out the luggage carts was very rude, I sent my friends daughter to get a lauggage cart & they turned her away Because she didn’t have an ID. So I sent her back with mine & they still turned her away YET AGAIN! Then upon departure, one of the kids accidentally took a bag of towels thinking it was mine. It was a nightmare tryin to get somebody who could let me back in the room to drop off the towels! Really the worst part of the whole stay was the elevators! didn’t matter what time we would leave to go do anything, we had to wait upward of 15 mins to get an elevator! A lot of times we would end up just taking the first available elevator, be it was going up or down. I left a mini waffle maker I had purchased at Target As a gift to the owners for sharing their vacation home with us! The arcade/ game room was a huge help with my 5 year old to play in as it wasn’t the best time to be in the gulf due to the hurricane had just hit & the water was full of jellyfish!

"This was my first vacation in 21 years and this place was a perfect place to stay for that.
The rental was beautiful.
However during our stay there was some bad weather and they closed the indoor pool for it. Which makes absolutely no sense. Especially since the other amenities were closed due to the virus.
Also I paid 145 in cleaning fees but had to provide my own supplies. Not sure what that fee is yard for then.

Sandy and steve have a beautiful and homey condo. Amazing views! I can't thank them enough for sharing it with us.

"Checking in was a confusing mess. Checking out was not so bad except when we went to get carts to load our things, when we got back to the condo we were locked out already. Check out was 10 but this was about 9:15.
Then there was a faulty fire alarm. Can't use the elevators just the stairs. They kept saying use the handicap protocol....I am handicapped, there was no protocol and we were on the 16th floor!!!!

"This is the perfect location on the West end of Panama City Beach. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Blue Swell staff was very attentive when the need arose to contact them. They seem to genuinely care about the guest's satisfaction and maintaining a positive, professional image. Awesome view of the gulf. Spotted dolphins (porpoises?) almost on a daily basis swimming past the beach. Steam room was an unexpected, exceptional plus for guests staying there.
