Description

This beautiful unit is located on the THIRD FLOOR, so if you prefer a lower-floor condo, this is the place for you.

The third-floor location is an enormous benefit over other floors because, from the parking garage, you don't have to ride an elevator to get to your condo. AND, if there are elevator waits in the summer, you can walk down the stairs to the ground floor where the beach is. This floor is the best because it is high enough to offer privacy but low enough to feel safe! 

If you’re the kind of person that likes to stay in the most popular resort on the beach, the Calypso is perfect for you. This place is awesome, beautiful, and right across the street from Pier Park. There are two amazing pools right on the gulf and the decor will make you want to abandon your home and move in full time. Of course, the fact that it’s right across the street from Pier Park is a huge plus. Just think – all that dining, shopping, and entertainment just a short walk away!

Guest will need to pre-register online for a parking pass BEFORE arrival. There is a one car limit per reservation.

This was the perfect condo for our family! It was super clean and super convenient location. We had the most beautiful view from the ocean being on the 3rd floor. We spent a lot of extra time in our condo with our toddler& and our twin babies ���� We loved every single second of our vacation. Highly recommend!!

Great location, beautiful view. Condo was nice, but there was a problem with the air conditioner for three out of seven days. Management was very responsive to issue and HVAC tech came out each time, but the unit never cooled properly. Overall we had a good vacation and would rent from Blue Swell again!

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great location. The brand new washer didn’t work and there was some miscommunication breakdown with management company but it was fixed after 4 days. We usually eat in and there were a few things missing that I thought would be in the kitchen - like a cutting board and tongs. One of the Adirondack chairs on balcony was broken which was a shame. Overall a perfect spot for a girls trip!

Unit was nice but had issues with the freezer. Freezer wouldn't close with tray inserted so left out during our stay to keep workers out of condo. Parking pass had wrong dates on it and after contacting the manager at calypso and blue swell, it still took two more trips to guest services to get fixed.Didnt realize until after booking with blur swell that they different offer the same amenities as other rental agencies did so would probably not rent from them again.

Blue Swell was great to work with! I’d happily choose another vacation spot that they manage. <br/><br/>The unit itself needs some TLC. Walls and door frames were very beat up. The toilets are VERY loud. The bedroom furniture, comforter, and decorative pillows seemed dirty/old. Paint is peeling off the cabinets and in some places is haphazardly painted over. Some of the towels left for us to use had a yellow tint to them. I even had to kill a roach one night. <br/><br/>Again, Blue Swell was wonderful to work with. However, I could’ve gotten a much nicer condo for the same price, and I’d hate for someone else to feel like they spent too much money for what they get.

Overall the unit was nice and reasonably clean. The bed was comfortable but the sofa bed mattress should be replaced. The kitchen wasn’t well stocked. Few forks, but plenty of all other silverware. (we needed forks).. Their were very few mixing bowls, and almost no storage type containers. They were very responsive to get maintenance out when we reported a bathroom sink not draining, but when we complained of the SQUEALING dryer .. that wouldn’t dry the towels.. they sent someone out but they couldn’t repair it... by far our biggest annoyance and struggle with keeping towels for beach and bath for 4 ladies. So, hopefully this will be fixed going forward. The beach service workers were amazing, but when we arrived we were told our unit didn’t have chairs ... that the owners hadn’t paid the fees for them yet... Blue Swell and the service worked it out and we had chairs. Again, I hope this issue is resolved for the visitors. We love the 3rd floor location and the Elevators were so easy for us (a huge plus). The parking barcode was a huge pain as it almost never worked for us... but calypso is supposed to fixing that.
Thank you for all the great feedback, Ms. Price. We try to have all issues resolved within 24 hours of reporting to us as our guest comfort is important to us. We will make notes so that the property is better stocked for future guests.

Excellent. Calypso Resort 305W was the perfect vacation rental. Parking, the building location itself and the condo were all in the perfect location. The condo and grounds were clean and safe. We had a fabulous time on vacation. Able to walk the pier and see a shark, some sting rays and a beautiful sea turtle. The room was perfect and the view was outstanding. Only complaint is the gate to the condo. You have to scan to get out. I don’t see where this is safe. We actually were stuck inside the garage and had to call for assistance. They should rethink this.

We always stay at calypso and enjoyed our stay in this cute little condo. It is pretty small, perfect for 2 people, but a little cramped if you bring your kids. I loved the couch, it was very comfy. Very nice smart TVs. The room was cutely decorated. 3rd floor is my favorite place to be since it saves you so much time on the elevators. It’s right between the elevators, so at times there was a lot of noise, not too bad because of the time of year we were there but not a good spot for when it’s very crowded. The toilets were extremely loud. The floor felt dirty when we arrived, but the condo was otherwise clean. Plenty of towels. There was no available kitchen pantry like in all the other units I stayed in, not a problem for us on a long weekend trip, but for a long summer vacation not sure where we’d put groceries. Here’s the one thing that upset me, checkout was at 10 AM. At 8:40 as I was coming back from emptying the trash, I found out our door code no longer worked. I tried about 20 times, even pulling the code up on my phone to make sure I wasn’t entering the wrong number. Thank goodness my husband was still in the room to let me in. He also tried the door code, still didn’t work. That made it a little difficult the last 30 min of our stay (we left just after 9) to make sure we didn’t get locked out.

Process to check in was very easy other than there were no carts available to transport our items from parking garage to condo. Luckily we brought a wagon and that made it easier. Staying on the 3rd floor avoided having to deal with the lengthy wait of elevators.

Condo has small living room with big bedroom and big bathroom w/walk in closet. Half bath with toilet/sink in LR. You have to share main Bath for bathing. Kitchen stocked with plenty of glass dishes, and basic cookware. Nothing fancy, but worked for us. Could use some better cutlery for slicing, peeling and chopping. Front Beach Road is busy for me, but location is great if you like to walk over to Pier Park to eat. The property is very nice and I enjoyed being on the 3rd floor where the walk over is located. The room is next to the elevator so you do hear people getting on and off, but it did not bother us. If noise bothers you then you might not like that room. Laundry room is separate room. Toilets are loud but didn’t bother us. Balcony has amazing views. Overall, we loved our stay. Blue Swell checks in very often to make sure all is going well. Will use them again.

This condo was perfect for my husband and I coming in town for the Ironman race. It was extremely spacious, had all the amenities, same level as the skywalk to the parking garage, the best view, etc. It was on the run course for the race and a short walking distance to the finish line and transition. The toilets flush a little loud and the ice maker in fridge didn’t work but definitely not deal breakers.

The company was good--the only thing was uneven floors, and loud commode flushing and floors also squeeked when you walk. We love PCB--and we were 2 adults, but if you have kids that are light sleepers, it would not be good. Location and view is amazing.

It's hard to beat this location. And this unit is only 3 floors up which is a huge bonus for me. The tiki bar was fun. Watching the kids play in the pool was fun. Beach was amazing. Walked to restaurants and the pier. This unit has so much humidity. Strange. The floors are ruined I believe due to the humidity and needs to be replaced. The management made our stay easy which says a lot for me. I wish that these rental places would stop using fancy bed spreads and instead use textiles that are WASHABLE. I don't get it. Also no matter where I stay the floors always seem dirty to me. Everything else was fine. For the price I just expect a little more.

We spent a week and didn't want to go home at the end of the week...would definitely recommend this unit! Everyone was friendly, the unit was clean, organized and conveniently located. Close to Pier Park and LOTS of restaurants and shopping. We LOVED Fatty's Sandwiches across the street. Parking was convenient and we felt safe on the property. The beach was amazing! Everything about our stay was fantastic! Would love to come back soon!

Overall the condo was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint is the floors were VERY dirty. My 4 year old walked around barefooted for less than 5 minutes and the bottom of her feet were black. We had to mop the floors twice which helped but definitely wasn't how I wanted to start my vacation. The bed in the master was pretty comfortable. The sofa bed probably would not be very comfortable for an adult to sleep o because it wasn't very study but it worked okay for our 4 year old. The shower is very big which is nice because a lot of the places we have stayed in the past had TINY showers. We had a great week at the condo and it was nice that it was so close to pier park so you could walk there. The beach chairs that came with the condo were a nice bonus so that we didn't have to tote chairs or an umbrella with us. We arrived on Saturday and on Monday there was some type of glitch or something that caused all the locks to reset with a new code so when I came back up from the beach I was not able to get back in the condo. Awesome room, awesome location of this room...right off the elevator. This was the first time we stayed at Calypso and it was fantastic! We worked with Scotty at PCBLP, he was very nice and very helpful as well. We highly recommend this unit and we will return next year!

Great location and decorated beautifully. Only negative was the unit was not as clean as I'd prefer. Had to sweep sand off the floor when we arrived and the wood laminate floor is noisy due to sand in between planks. Otherwise a great property!

Great condo with ocean front views! Easy access to entertainment and dining and easy parking.

We had a great time! It's a gorgeous unit with even better views. Easy access to everything, and very low key. We would definitely visit again, and hope to soon! With the half bath in front and the sleep away bed, you can definitely have a family with kids, friends, or two couples stay there too!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend and decided on Panama City Beach. This condo was perfectly located near Pier Park and right on the beach three floors high. Perfect views and great TV's made this place ideal. We will return.

My husband and I took a trip to PCB kid-free. This was a wonderful resort and room. The room was very clean and perfect size for 2 adults or a small family. Would definitely stay in this condo again. We enjoyed daily walks to Pier Park- it was much closer than I expected it to be! We also really enjoyed the complimentary beach chair service! Best place we have ever stayed! :)

Our stay at Calypso 305w was very nice. The floors needed to be mopped & dusting was needed also. Blueswells was always prompt in service & responded quickly to our needs. Will definitely consider again in future.

I read all the reviews before. I always pick a place based on the reviews. That being said:GOOD:The condo is large. Good size kitchen, VERY comfy couch- large enough for two of us to stretch out on. Many pillows. The bedroom is large with a nice dresser and two night stands. It has an amazing view of the gulf with a door leading to the balcony. Apparently not all the condos have this. Enter the bathroom with a large soaking tub, glass door shower (big enough for two ;)) and a separate stall with a toliet. Double sink vanity with great lighting. Then in the back, is a LARGE closet with a luggage rack. There is also a fan in the master and living room that provided very good circulation. We were able to keep the temp around 76.There were reviews that did not approve of the balcony furniture. Anything that is gulf front will be very worn. It is the nature of the wind and salt water. There is a lounge, which I enjoyed very much in the afternoon.The beach chairs are assigned when you first arrive to the beach, but we were able to \"choose\", kind of. Early bird gets the worm.Staying late August we had NO problem with the elevators. The elevators are literally right outside your door. As is an overhang balcony to look out over the strip. Can be a \"smoking section\" should you so desire. There are ashtrays.I had no complaint what so ever with the cleanliness. Was there some sand in the corner? yeah. Were my feet dirty while barefoot? yes- it's tile! The hardwood laminate was not laid perfectly, so there is some creaking and bowing. Hey, it's humid! No biggie. It's pretty.The kitchen could use more amenities. I am always SO disappointed to not have coffee filters or spices. One reason I like to rent from owners and not property managers. But, hey that's part of it.Blue Swell was an excellent team to rent from and I will do it again 100%. They fixed all issues promptly and with perfect customer service.Location: The only thing between you and pier park is a well lit side walk and some pull off parking for public beach access. If not for shopping- then for the many food joints and Tootsies for night life. We enjoyed not having to drive to eat after a long day on the beach. On past pier park is Dusty's oyster bar. 0.4m but very much so worth it. A staple in my diet when visiting PCB. On down to the next stop light (west end) is Eat my Pasty. The BEST fish & chips, the most amazing gourmet burgers, and pasties. Local owners.

Very nice an clean condo. Loved the views from living area an bedroom. Really liked the large bathroom with walk in-shower. Everyone was very nice and so close to everything. Loved being right on the beach an having heated pool. Would come back for sure!
