Each year during Mother’s Day Weekend, Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach is transformed into the site of the ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival. Featuring the exhibitions of more than one hundred and thirty exhibitions international artists, the genres of art showcased here include oils and acrylics, mixed media, ceramics, glass and fiber work, sculpture, photography, jewelry and metal work, wood carving, watercolors, prints, and more. These entrants compete to win awards amounting to ten thousand dollars in cash prizes. Alongside of the fine arts show, ArtsQuest also hosts live music, artist demonstrations, dance performances, and kid-friendly entertainment at ImagiNation.
Digital Graffiti
Art and architecture intersect in the form of this dynamic, creative competition. For three nights, digital artists from around the world are invited to enter their original work in a juried art contest for the possibility of winning the cash prize award and the honor of having their work projected onto the town’s iconic white walls.
The Food Film Festival
Together with The Local Palate, the heads of the Food Film Festival showcase the latest and greatest films and cuisine in South Walton during this unique local celebration. Festival attendees can sample the delicacies of dishes featured in award-winning movies and documentaries while they watch the films from which the dishes are derived and feel as if they’re in the middle of the movie themselves!
